Overall responsibility of Greenford Quay, Greystar Europe’s flagship Multi-family development comprising 630 homes and state-of-the-art amenities with a further 900 homes and total 220,000sqft of retail space due for completion by 2025. Responsible for all aspects of MF operation including leadership; stakeholder management; public relations; H&S compliance; leasing performance; resident experience; budget management and more.

Senior Community Manager

General management of The Fold, a Legal & General BTR development comprising 251 homes and high-end amenities. Completion due Summer 2022. Started recruitment and on-boarding of team; prepared /reviewed leasing strategy; marketing strategy; budget (£1.5m+); rental values; customer proposition and more. I also project managed the implementation of a CRM upgrade across all sites (Yardi RENTCafé CRM Flex) which included reviewing processes, re-writing customer documents and delivering training; reviewed and implemented an updated complaints procedure across all sites; and produced key documents for the MD and client.

General Manager

General management of One Canalside, a Legal & General BTR development comprising 189 waterside homes plus amenities. Joined 3 months prior to completion, recruited team and led mobilisation from an operational perspective. Responsible for all aspects of BTR operation including leadership and performance management of on-site team; investor reporting and relations; developer relations; budget creation and management (£1m+); leasing strategy and third-party lettings agent management; overall health & safety compliance; PPM & reactive maintenance management; end-to-end customer experience; brand awareness (voted #1 residential development in Essex on Homeviews); marketing strategy; resident events and more. Phase 1 and 2 were 100% leased within 4 months of completion. Phase 3 completed after I moved to the Croydon development. I also led various projects across the business such as improving the debt recovery and section 8 eviction process; implementing a holding deposit in line with Tenant Fees Act 2019 and creating comprehensive mobilisation and training checklists.

Resident Services Manager at Blackhorse Mills, Legal & Generals flagship BTR development comprising 479 high-end homes with industry leading amenities. Joined 5 months prior to completion, recruited on site team and heavily involved throughout mobilisation. Responsible for delivering a fantastic end-to-end resident experience while achieving client targets and remaining 100% compliant. Selected to be a part of an expert team that reviewed processes to develop best practice guidance and deliver training across the business.

Responsible for the performance, compliance and development of 8 senior/property managers and their combined portfolio’s of 800+ high-end London properties. Included performance management; industry introduction and holistic training including CRM system; delegating responsibilities and selecting leads based on strengths; setting individual and team goals then analysing performance and adjusting plan accordingly; celebrating success; guidance for all enquiries including contracts, negotiations, deposit returns and evictions; effectively preventing and managing escalated customer complaints and more.

Worked in a small team responsible for the management of 560 high-end BTR homes. The role covered all aspects of the rental experience. I was selected as a Yardi implementation lead during the migration from Qube and Aspasia.

Accountable for managing and motivating 20+ employees with a circa. £2.5m turnover, delivering KPIs, ensuring stock is replenished effectively and all other operations within store. Previous to joining the store was behind on all KPIs. Having reviewed the operational format and provided effective coaching, individual performance improved to exceed store targets.

Overall leadership of 80+ employees with a circa. £10m turnover. Worked closely with area managers to improve sales and develop a successful culture. Line managed teams that accounted for half of total store takings – KPIs exceeded on a weekly basis.
