Was denied entry into the IBEW (electricians apprenticeship) for lack of a physical high school diploma, as a honorably discharged veteran with university level credits. Wrote the IBEW council petitioning the form DD 214 be accepted as substitute for physical HS diploma~ All US Armed Forces Veterans can now use form DD 214 to meet diploma requirements for apprenticeship admission.
