George Finlayson's Linkedin Analytics

I am a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge, where I earned a Master of Philosophy in Business Administration and Management. Before that, I completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History from the University of California, Berkeley, where I also minored in Creative Writing. During my studies, I pursued my passion for rowing at an elite level, competing with past and current Olympic athletes. I rowed in Cal's first varsity boat for four years and for Cambridge in the 167th edition of the Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race. I have also represented Australia overseas on two occasions. In addition to my academic and athletic achievements, I have gained valuable work experience as an external consultant at Ubitricity, a leading provider of smart charging solutions for electric vehicles. There, I worked with a diverse and dynamic team to deliver a large contract for a major client. I demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing situations and solve problems creatively. I am now back in my hometown of Sydney, Australia, looking for new opportunities to apply my skills and knowledge in the business and management field. I am motivated by challenges, driven by curiosity, and eager to learn from others. I am also passionate about making a positive impact on the world through innovation and sustainability.
