Startup Universe is a global initiative that, through open online national programs, empowers early-stage startup founders leveraging the diaspora in tech networks! There George:

- Coordinated 14 programs globally, which engaged 455 participating startups
- Initiated new partnerships with European institutions, angel investors and VCs, such as the OECD and Allied for Startups
- Hosted 7 SU Talks and pitched the organization to stakeholders in media
- Organized the 1st Demo Day, connecting the Top 15 startups with 17 investors
- Awarded the Startup Ecosystem Stars award by Mind the Bridge and the International Chamber of Commerce for boosting the development and internalization of emerging startup ecosystems
