Chanced it as a copywriter. getting my first ad agency job when Margaret Thatcher was still PM. Later I dabbled as a creative director. Research and data have followed me. Back in my agency days, I'd praise research if it supported my thinking, then trash it when it challenged my ideas. I learned from academics, colleagues and YouTube. I read research methods and frameworks like Design Thinking and Behavioural Economics. Enrolled in an MBA to deepen my knowledge. These days I’m co-founder of research consultancy, Runway.
