George Khalife is a strategic growth professional with a capital markets and startup background. Having travelled to over 30 countries and residing in 5 (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Lebanon, Canada, and the U.S.), he possesses a unique ability to connect with diverse cultures and adapt to dynamic environments. Today, George is the Director of Market Expansion & Strategy at Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) in the Chicago office. In this role, George will help grow the firm's presence in the Midwest by fostering strategic partnerships within the venture capital and emerging growth community, as well as the wider Chicago business ecosystem. Prior to joining NRF, George was the Vice President of U.S. Capital Formation for the Toronto Stock Exchange & TSX Venture Exchange, where he assisted US companies with going public in Canada. George spearheaded the establishment of TSX’s office in Chicago and its Midwest expansion. Before joining TSX, George led business development and marketing for FinTech startup owl.co and before that drove business expansion for Canada's leading tech-focused M&A firm, Sampford Advisors.  Beyond his professional pursuits, George is the Host and Founder of Let's Grab Coffee, an influential podcast catering to entrepreneurs, featuring more than 150 episodes with notable figures like the Cofounders of Netflix, Starbucks, Reebok, and the music video director of Drake, Director X. A dedicated member of Toronto's and Chicago's business ecosystems, George currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Toronto-Chicago Sister City Committee and holds a joint Global Executive MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and York University’s Schulich School of Business.
