Georgette Kolkman is a brand and marketing strategist with over two decades of global brand experience. She is a self-published author, founder, mentor and advisor. She is passionate about sustainable brand and business strategy, results driven marketing communications, leading cross-functional project teams and enterprise cultural transformation. She started her career in Advertising and Marketing working with international clients in Aviation, Logistics, Automotive, FMCG and Retail. She has held several senior positions at The Emirates Group over the past 24 years, heading up brand and marketing strategy for Emirates Airline, launching hospitality, tourism and aviation brands and products such as Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, Emirates A380, Emirates Terminal 3 at DXB and flydubai. She led the global rebrand of the airline and was responsible for brand strategy and governance for all areas of the business including tourism, logistics, and loyalty, driving global market leader position and continuous growth in brand value. She led a company-wide internal cultural change programme to sustain employee loyalty, high-performance and outstanding customer experience. In her role as strategic partnerships lead, Georgette was seconded to Expo2020 Dubai, as SVP -Marketing and advisor to the Director General, to develop an integrated Marketing Communications roadmap for the event. Georgette now lives in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and enjoys writing, travelling, hiking, music, theatre and cooking.
