Kelvin Health’s mission is to make preventable deaths and suffering from conditions like vascular disease, breast cancer, and rheumatoid arthritis a thing of the past by coupling artificial intelligence, thermography, and medical science. The long-term vision is to be adopted in every home and proactively assist in the screening and monitoring of multiple socially significant diseases.

Imagga

Leading a team of machine learning experts and developers for fine-tuning the performance of Imagga's core AI technology. Leading the research and development of new state-of-the-art machine learning (ML) algorithms as well as the development and deployment of Imagga’s new Content Moderation solution. Project coordinator and lead of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects.

CTO & Head of Artificial Intelligence

Built and led a team of developers for the development of Imagga's core technology and optimising it for variety of use cases. Optimized the existing technologies and improved their accuracy and speed. Worked directly with the customers for building highly-customized AI solutions for optimizing their workflows. Trained and deployed at scale the largest consumer classifier in the world for plant identification using a dataset of 110M images and more than 300,000 species - PlantSnap. In charge of building a highly-scalable and cost-effective deep learning API infrastructure on AWS.

Core Technology Lead

Extended the functionality of the internal deep learning tools, as well as worked on the optimisation of the neural network architectures and algorithms. Developed tools for data optimisation and analysis. Was actively involved in shaping Imagga's enterprise solutions as well as in the hiring and mentoring process for new recruits.

Senior Software Engineer

Leveraged the use of deep learning for building Imagga's core technologies. Designed and implemented an internal toolset for training, validation and deployment of deep learning models. In charge of training and validating custom statistical and deep learning models for clients.

Founding Engineer

Worked on various software development projects, web applications, WordPress development projects.

Freelance Software Engineer

More than 12 years of experience in research and development of various machine learning algorithms for image and video understanding and over 15 years of experience in developing, deploying and managing complex software architectures.

The key person responsible for the development of Imagga’s core AI technology, as well as fine-tuning its performance and specialization for a variety of practical use-cases.

Part of the founding team and CTO at Kelvin Health - the first Thermography AI solution for rapid & efficient diagnostics in every context, based on analysis of thermal images by a medically-verified artificial intelligence.

Back-to-back first prize winner in many competitions in Information Technologies and Software Development, as well as winner in various technical & business hackathons over the years.

Recognized by Forbes Bulgaria in 2020 as one of the 30 people under the age of 30 for achievements in the areas of computer science and innovation.
