John Pye

Within my role as a customer service assistant at John Pye Auctions, it was my responsibility to provide customers with a satisfactory experience and solution to their worries or issues. I have learned a variety of systems such as Tawk which allowed me to communicate in as much detail as possible with the customer and helped me to track the progress of an issue allowing me to reach a resolution. I have also continued my copywriting work alongside this, the Voice newsletter is something which I was still able to keep within my role, I attended monthly meetings and continued to report on stats including team changes, overall results and wider business updates which were then shared with the wider business.

Customer Service Agent

During my time as a marketing assistant at John Pye Auctions I wrote a small series of press releases which received coverage in titles including The Business Desk and Retail Jeweller. I also produced a number of blogs which are set to be uploaded on John Pye’s new B2B website, something which I also assisted in the creation of. I also took on the responsibility of the company’s monthly newsletter, The Voice, this requires me to attend a monthly meeting where I gather the business’ stats and format them into a readable and engaging newsletter along with additional information such as company updates, award announcements and internal job openings. I then upload this to workplace, John Pye’s internal chat room which is available to all staff within the company.

Marketing Assistant at John Pye Auctions

I have recently joined the team at Marketing Nottingham as a Business Visits and Events Assistant. I’m excited to work with an array of wonderful Nottinghamshire based businesses and promote the opportunities which Nottingham offers.

Throughout my career I have built up a love of networking and a great community within the Nottingham area which I am really appreciative of, I enjoy attending events within the city across various industries and causes. 

My voluntary work with Nottingham based charity Switch Up is also really important to me and something I plan to continue and develop in the future, working with Baz and the team is a great experience and something which I am grateful to be able to do alongside my career.
