Gerald is an entrepreneur, currently serving as the President and co-founder of EtherMail, the leading web3 email Platform building the bridge between web2 and web3 and bringing full inbox ownership, control, and sovereignty back to users. He is also leading the Barcelona Blockchain Network that he co-founded with Shant Kevonian, a venture studio focusing on web3 and AI start-ups. Before EtherMail, he founded youtiful in 2019, a climate-neutral beauty involvement brand, introduced cang.eco, promoting sustainable FMCG products, and launched Pippa&Jean helping more than 5.000 women entrepreneurs to start their businesses. In 2006, he co-founded BuyVIP, an eCommerce shopping community acquired by Amazon, boasting over 10 million members and a turnover exceeding USD 140 million. His journey commenced in 1999 when he founded PORTUM AG, a B2B reverse online auction and sourcing events pioneer, eventually acquired by IBX / Cap Gemini. Throughout his career, Gerald has been an active investor in startups through Omnis Mundi and Firestartr and a dedicated Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) member.
