As an innovative leader in the educational technology sector, I have spearheaded the development and execution of strategic partnerships with school districts and educational institutions, building a robust pipeline valued at over $50 million. This pipeline is centered around a cutting-edge, AI-powered platform and curriculum designed for career exploration in the K-12 space. A notable achievement includes securing a 5-year multimillion-dollar contract with the Department of Defense Education Agency, launching a career and technology exploration platform across 52 middle schools worldwide.

Under my leadership, we rapidly built a 70-person innovation team within 18 months, successfully launching three new products across the K-12 and STEM learning markets. My efforts in fostering collaborations with industry and thought leaders have significantly expanded our national footprint in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) space for schools.

I have led strategic fundraising initiatives, successfully raising over $15 million from Angel and Venture Capital funds, fueling the company's growth and product development. My role extended to forging strategic partnerships with national think tanks, including the National Science Foundation and Walton Foundation, leading the research and development of Learning Progression frameworks. These frameworks aim to create skill acquisition pathways for learners from kindergarten through to adult education ("K through Grey").

Furthermore, I established collaborative partnership programs with major corporations, including Whataburger, Houston Rockets, Nasdaq, US Congressional App Challenge, Girl Scouts, and Ericsson, to provide STEAM-based learning opportunities. These partnerships have not only diversified our funding streams but also enriched our educational offerings, making significant impacts on students' learning outcomes and career readiness.

As a project manager, implemented and analyzed various development platforms, managed the life cycle development efforts of the online order entry system for the franchise. Managed a team of senior developers, various QA staff members and business analysts to deliver a quality product to the customer while resolving issues and proactively mitigating risks. Completed studies to estimate market share and revenue generation weekly status reporting to the executive team and making sure that the project remained on track and within timelines. This project involved consolidating data feeds from multiple accounts payable systems to track online payments across the enterprise by division, region, and category/commodity. It allowed the company to monitor customer spending, providing comprehensive spending information on clients to fully aggregate and leverage marketing efforts Managed development process, evaluated customer needs, timelines, management reporting, corporate and management duties and projects.  Served as a Business Analyst Project Manager on various projects and actively led user requirement gathering via focus groups and group and individual team meetings. Oversaw group of Business Analysts during each phase of use case creation and iterative cycles of developments.

As a senior consultant, primary responsibilities involved providing support to clients based on defined needs. Several clients included City of Longmont Water Department, Colorado Department of Labor, and several private sector clients. Architected, productized, provisioned and supported a spectrum of major high-end enterprise wide applications using PowerBuilder as the primary development tool. Defined the client-facing role of Consultant Engineers for the client and built key partner and vendor relationships through research, gatherings at national conferences, and ongoing proactive communications.  Projects assignments included: Project Management Consultant City of Longmont Water Board. Wrote recommendations for enhancements to a company’s software development methodology to incorporate project management principles. Implemented earned-value performance measurement system to provide biweekly project metrics Project Team Lead  Colorado Department of Labor Provided hands-on project schedule management using MS-Project for a large process redesign project; and designed queries and reports for data capture, movement and tabulation across multiple platforms. Utilized data capture and manipulation tools for managing large quantities of data received on a daily basis and allowing the data to be parsed and stored into an Oracle database for easier access by financial departments.
