Ghermay is a mission-oriented IT executive with extensive experience in enterprise information technology. Before founding NLT, Ghermay worked in space, defense, academia, civil engineering, and the early years of the Internet as an implementation consultant, data analyst, software developer, practitioner, instructor, and consultant. As the founder and CEO of NLT, he has transformed the company into a formidable GIS, IT, and Data Science provider over the past two decades. With a unique blend of business development acumen and information technology expertise, Ghermay has enabled NLT to serve a diverse clientele, including Federal, State, and Local Governments, Commercial, Academia, International Organizations, and Non-Profit customers. Ghermay provides high-level guidance on customer service, business analysis, and customer project and program operations. Ghermay holds a Bachelor's and Master of Science degrees from the University of Maryland at College Park and is currently enrolled in the Earth Systems and Geoinformation Sciences Ph.D. program at George Mason University. He attended Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program to enhance his Disruptive Innovation architecture for his company. Ghermay holds industry certifications, including CSM from the Scrum Alliance and GISP from GISCI. He leads a dynamic team involved in the full life cycle of technology projects and manages teams deployed across private and public sector customers. Ghermay is passionate about organizing and leading teams to build sustainable technology solutions using lean business development and management strategies.
