Contributing to research on wastewater reuse and its viability in the context of drought like conditions and low access to energy. Lead the initial design and development of an interactive digital platform that brings together water stakeholders with important data and anticipatory features to secure and manage water sustainably.

MAGO Project Coordinator - Sr Research Assistant 

Statistics Lebanon

Managed a multi-task comprehensive project to increase access, affordability of quality childcare services, and promote the business case for employer-supported childcare. Worked with the Research Director, survey design and GIS experts, statisticians, and fieldwork managers to streamline piloting and data collection tools. Point of contact for the World Bank Mashreq Gender Facility. 

Synthetized and developed two quantitative reports: 1) Lebanon-based employer supported childcare solutions and 2) comprehensive supply side assessment of the quality and accessibility of childcare providers across Lebanon.

Developed, structured and synthesized a full report on the extent of the informal labor economy and vulnerability among population sub-groups in Lebanon including quantitative analysis, table and figure presentations, on short notice to meet a strict deadline for the UN International Labor Organization.

Research Management: Lead, coordinate, track progress, and manage a multidisciplinary team of 7 junior researchers, virtually, from the Arab states on research deliverables within a project cycle, including quantitative and qualitative data collection, data analysis, and interpretation activities. Focal point of contact for UNESCO.

Research Process: Conceptualize, design, refine, analyze, and disseminate a mixed methods social science research on the digital and civic actions of Arab young adults in the time of covid-19.

Youth as Researchers Arab States Team Lead

Faculty of Health Sciences - Managed a large dataset of graduate public health degrees in the Arab world and analyzed characteristics and features of MPH programs through complex tables and figures and explored the relations of these programs to country specific development indicators using logistic regressions and correlation tests.

Rapporteur for the 31st annual meeting of the Reproductive Health Working Group focused on the research process and the nature of knowledge production on health in threatening contexts of conflict, political instability and forced migration.

Supported the website redesign and generated new web content to meet the launch of the new www.rhwg.org.

Facilitated collaboration among geographically dispersed members of the RHWG Consultative Committee to develop and implement the recruitment of a new coordinator and created an archive of the process for future use.

Research Assistant for Regional & International Collaboration

One of three authors of the FAO Regional Near East and North Africa (NENA) report titled: "Food Systems for Healthy Diets in the Near East and North Africa." Mapping and describing food policies across 22 countries of the NENA region, and analyzing food policy entry points and their impacts on diet.

Built a strong evidence base on schools and programs of public health in the Eastern Mediterranean Region and on regional associations of academic public health across the world. 

Developed a global database mapping of research hubs, academic centers, journals, networks, and conferences focused on health in war and produced interactive presentations for use in international fora.

Developed an outcome evaluation matrix for the AUB-Lancet project at various levels including knowledge translation, global policy, civil society dialogues, global research activities, media dissemination and stakeholder/expert consultations.

Increased visibility and advocacy with updates to the AUB-Lancet Commission on Syria website via SharePoint, creating communication materials, and managing the social media account during key events.

Assisted in proposal writing for a Reproductive Health Working Group grant and produced an organogram, organizational strategy model, indicator-milestone activity matrix, work plan and budget template.

Launched and grew a new regional office in NJ and generated the first sale at $50K in the first month by developing new partnerships that expanded market share by 40%. Achieved “Best New Performing Sales Person” award within the first 3 months on the job. Effectively recruited and placed candidates for key roles in BI Analytics, JS/jQuery Dev Lead and Selenium Experts with Nike, ADP, HP, T-Mobile, DTNA, PreCash and First Data.
