Retailers are building out their digital presences, boosting in-store offerings, experimenting with streaming and media partnerships, creating their retail media strategy, and putting ads everywhere they can.

#Startup investments saw a slight increase in Q1 2024, with a total of $35B in venture funding for American and Canadian companies. This is up 14% from Q4 2023 (which was the slowest quarter in years)!

While spending rose sequentially, deal volume did not, with #investors participating in 2,435 known rounds at all stages during the quarter. This represents an 8% decline from the prior quarter and a 34% decline from last year.
