I led the Berlin office and team of 15+ Marketing Managers and Customer Support Specialists with the objective of maximizing the global growth and revenue - in 6 languages - while providing the best customer support. 

My responsibilities included:
- defining and managing the digital and offline marketing strategy and budget with clear KPIs and OKRs
- reaching monthly and yearly revenue targets in our key territories (6 languages) 
- growing and managing our international team of marketers and customer support (hiring/staffing)
- streamlining communication, training, and processes within the team and between the Berlin office and the Zurich headquarters
- Reporting to the CEO and sharing its vision to our Berlin office
- Creating a work culture which enables the team to thrive within our international environment
- Coordinate communication between the tech team and our marketing and customer support team for the launch of new products 
- Increasing global revenue and maximizing ROI from our marketing budget by optimizing
user acquisition and conversion via our Content Marketing Strategy, Social Media Ads, SEA, Email Marketing, Affiliate marketing, Partnerships, Display Ads, SEO, A/B Testing.
- Launching into one new market in 2019 (Brazil)
- Making sure our team provides the best support to our 100 000+ artists (answering time < 24h)
- Beside that, I also supervised operations for the Berlin office (finding and setting up a new office, continuously improve work environment, internal and external event management)

This plant is better than any green technology on Earth. But most people have never heard its name.

Even fewer know its superpowers.

It’s called peatmoss.

And quietly, over thousands of years, 
it built some of the most powerful climate machines nature ever created: wetlands.

But here’s the problem:
We destroyed almost all of them.

95% of wetlands are gone in countries like Germany.

❌ When they dry, they don’t just disappear: 
they become massive CO₂ emitters!

And they are destroyed because we thought they were “useless lands.”

But peatmoss and wetlands are real superheroes:

🌍 Carbon: stores more CO₂ per m² than forests
💧 Water: acts like a giant sponge, preventing both droughts and floods
 🦋 Life: creates biodiversity hubs from almost nothing
 🧪 Purification: filters water from chemicals naturally, no IT needed

We don't need giant, super expensive, and inefficient air capture technologies.

Nature already invented the best climate solutions.

Since I started working on wetlands, people ask me: “How do you restore a destroyed wetland?”

Most imagine it’s about building fancy infrastructure.

It is often not.

1. Find a wetland that was drained to serve human interests (often for agriculture)
Also, it can't be completely drained, or it is impossible to restore.

2. Remove the trees that invaded once the water disappeared
In the project you see in this video, that meant removing more than 50,000 trees.

3. Let rain do the rest
If that’s not enough, support it with smart hydrological fixes (pumps, etc...)

It sounds easy. 
Of course it is more complicated.

Why is restoring wetlands the most efficient way to secure our future?
- They clean and store massive amount of water
- They reduce floods and droughts
- They capture carbon better than forests
- They host thousands of animal species  

We drained wetlands for agriculture, roads, and “development”.
Now we need them back for our own survival.
