Being fully present with people you love.

Worth more than any "always-on" availability.

Because this (being in Asia with my family, working on my terms, living fully) this is why I became "unemployable."

Here's what actually gets you through:

1/ Make it ATS-friendly

- Use keywords naturally from the job description 
- Clean formatting (no tables or graphics) 
- Standard fonts and PDF format

2/ Pass the 6-second test

- Put your biggest wins at the top 
- Numbers + context = impact
- Remote/async experience upfront

3/ Make it personal
 
- Connect your experience to their challenges
- Reference their recent news/launches 
- Show you understand their business

4/ Stand out strategically 

- Add a short Loom video link 
- Include a five-slide deck proposal 
- Connect with the team on LinkedIn

I've reviewed thousands of applications.

The ones that got hired weren't always the most qualified.

They were the most prepared.
