I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where I apply my expertise in machine learning (ML), climate science, physics to tackle complex and urgent environmental challenges. I have over 9 years of experience in analyzing and managing large climate datasets from models and observations, using various programming languages and tools. My current project involves setting up ML routines to calculate numerical solutions of ODEs, which can improve the simulation performance by up to 100 times. This can enable faster and more accurate predictions of the impacts of climate change modeling. I also collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders to communicate controversial scientific topics to a wider public, such as carbon footprint, climate engineering, and climate change.
