Manager Compliance & Innovation

ADITMAQ Aditivos y Maquinarias Cia. Ltda.

Responsibilities:

A.  Plan and manage the technical legal documents for the registration and commercialization of Human and Animal Consumption products in Ecuador, Colombia, Perú, and Panama.
B.  Monitoring and following up the national health regulations for Human food and Animal feed produced and marketed by ADITMAQ and its stakeholders.
C.  Evaluation and review of the technical documentation before obtaining sanitary registrations of national and foreign products in ARCSA and AGROCALIDAD.
D.  Elaboration and control of the nutritional labeling system such as the declaration of allergens, GMOs, and the traffic light-style nutritional labeling in Ecuador for food and feed.
E.  Knowledgeable about the platforms for official registration such as VUE, BPM SYSTEM ARCSA, SISTEMA GUIA, and QUIPUX of the health control entities.
F.  Responsible for obtaining operating permits for production plants and distribution centers, CLV (Certificate of Free Sale of Processed Food), and certificate of batch guarantee in ARCSA.
G.  Responsible for registering the company trademarks by national (Ecuador - SENADI) and foreign intellectual property entities (Colombia, Perú, and Panama).
H. ADITMAQ´s technical representative at the national health control entities ARCSA and AGROCALIDAD.

Omnilife del Ecuador

Responsibilities:

A.	Nationalization of imported products from manufacturing plants in Mexico and Colombia.
B.	Ensure that imported dietary supplements comply with the national sanitary regulations.
C.	Ensure proper food labeling and health claims in accordance with local regulations.
D.	Develop and implement a good storage and distribution practice plan (GSDP) for 11 distribution centers nationwide.
E.	Design and implement a reverse logistics model for the company’s warehouses and distribution centers in Ecuador.
F.	Technical representative for the Ecuadorian food industry to the food standardization committee.

One achievement of my management was the successful implementation of the reverse logistics model in Omnilife Ecuador. This allowed my company to reduce 79.6% of inventory losses with 72.000 USD in savings and an additional income of 1.961 USD in recycling.

Regulatory Affairs Manager

Responsibilities:

A. Plan the development and revision of Ecuadorian food standards based on the CODEX and ISO standards.
B. Plan and follow up on the performance of nine standardization technicians.
C. Follow up on the development in Ecuador of ISO and CODEX committees.

Responsibilities:

A.	Documentary technical analysis to grant certifications that guarantee food safety and quality. 
B.	Sanitary registration of food products.
C.	Emit health certifications for foodstuffs and quality control systems of food production.
D.	Authorize and emit licenses for exported and imported food products.

Certification Technician 

Responsibilities: 

A.	Create and outline proposals for food standards.
B.	Technical secretary for national standardization committees
C.	Provide technical information and scientific assistance to the members of the standardization committees.
D.	Motive the participation of stakeholders and promote consensus during the decision-making of the standardization committee.

Standardization Technician 

Food engineer with extensive experience in Regulatory Affairs / Sanitary Regulation for the food and feed industry. Specialized in management and optimization of production processes, implementation, and management of food safety and quality systems (BPM, BPD, HACCP, FSCC 22000). I consider myself a charismatic and innovative person, which has allowed me to develop my professional activities with leadership and commitment.
