A University rank holder from  Regional Engineering College Calicut, Kerala, (NITCAI ,  joined BPCL as the First Lady Engineer in 1980 . Starting  as a GET in the Maintenance Department Electrical in Mumbai Refinery on 01/08/1979 I have  varied experiences in Maintenance, Projects and Construction Depts,  and headed the  Computer Systems & Services departments in  Refinery before moving on to the Corporate IS set up  in 1999.  
	After architecting the Intralink Applications Site with over  40 in-house developed Web Applications including the Salary slip by email , setting up the IS Net   and Multi Media Studio  was posted as  Chief Manager at ERPCC,   established the Master Governance for BPCL. 
On deputation to BORL for a period of 5 years from 2007  set up the IT and ERP set up from scratch .
Before  retirement  from BPCL  on 31st Mar 2016 ,    was heading  the   Application Team IS at  ERPCC as DGM and was actively involved in    ‘PAHAL’   the Ministry driven LPG project ,  Customer Care System, the backbone of all BPCL first Initiatives (  winner  of CSI Award in 2015 ),  BITSS  and other Applications developed in the Dot net platform  
Accolades and Awards as follows:- 
2003	 Golden Peacock National Award, instituted by IOD,  for architecting Intranet Applications  
2005	 National Award for Excellence as the Best Women Executive conferred   by The National Petroleum Management Program in the Oil and Gas Sector .
2007	Recognition by SAP for implementation of Enterprise Master Governance for BPCL at    International Conference in Thailand.
2014  “Woman Achiever in IT” Award for  contributions  to IT in the INTEROP Global Platform.

On deputation to BORL for a period of 5 years from 2007  set up the IT and ERP set up from scratch   and   have the distinction of  doing pioneering work in the IT industry . Spearheaded the implementation of Unified Communication for BORL  making BORL pioneers in the Petroleum Industry to have implemented IP Telephony,  as a means of communication, Implemented various technologies in the grass root Refinery including a  Secure/Robust / Resilient LAN in 3000 Km campus, Wireless LAN, WAN with MPLS, VOIP,  Collaboration tools like Audio, Desktop video and  Web Conferencing ,   Email,  Intranet with dynamic applications,  Share Point Portal for Office documents,  Bentleys Project-wise   for Engineering drawings,   Project server for project scheduling,  Physical Security Solutions  using Video Surveillance, Network, Content &  End Point Security Technologies, and many other  initiatives  
Accolades and Awards as follows:- 
2009	As Vice President (ERP & IT) on deputation to Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd,   headed the SAP   Implementation Projects and created world records of implementing SAP in 47 working days   
2011 Instrumental in transforming the grass root refinery  to a state of the art “Smartest Digital Refinery” at BINA which also won the Edge Award.  and was showcased  at the Energy Summit  2012   which had  participation of  key  IT and business members from all Oil companies (IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, ONGC, Essar, Rel Energy)

Experienced Project Leader with 2 National Awards, demonstrated history of implementing Electrical Engg, IT Software, Unified Communication/ IT Infrastructure, IT Hardware, and ERP Projects, Pioneering Work without Cost and Time overruns in Oil industry. Skilled in Strategy Management, Project Planning, Engineering, Team Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Strong education professional with BTech in Electrical Engg from National Institute of Technology Calicut, Computer Mgmt. from Mumbai University and Project Management from QPMP, SAP Project Systems, with a penchant for learning and applying the knowledge and skills so acquired.
