I am the Location Head of the Italian Intellectual Property and Technology department at the global law firm DLA Piper, coordinating a group that is top ranked in technology, data protection, life sciences and intellectual property by the main legal directories. 

I am by background an Internet and data protection law lawyer, but then my practice considerably expanded in the assistance to national and international clients on

1) Technology and eCommerce projects, including Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and FinTech deals as well as outsourcing agreements, also in the banking, insurance and health sectors and regarding connected car, eHealth, smart city, blockchain, and digital transformation programs;
2) Privacy and data protection law issues, even with reference GDPR compliance projects in among others the banking, insurance, media, and publishing sectors;
3) Gambling and gaming (including social gaming, video gaming, and eSports) matters both in the online and brick and mortar industry;
4) Commercial, including franchising and distribution agreements, also about the fashion, retail and automotive sectors; and
5) Advertising contentious and non-contentious issues, including influencer marketing issues.
