As CTO, I lead a dynamic team of developers and innovators to build scalable, user-focused solutions that empower meaningful connections worldwide. Voltaire Labs

Founder of website development agency Voltaire Labs, responsible for architecting, designing, building and maintaining websites for clients. Our portfolio includes sport-news website Sportstopia.io, nft minting websites, job boards, incubators and landing pages. The technical stack varies with the requirements of each client but typically involves Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, Vercel and no-code tools Webflow, Figma and Canva.  We continue to deliver modern and clean websites from ideation to creation for our clients and will be growing the agency in the coming months.

Cardano Jobs

Built a custom job board for the Cardano Ecosystem using Webflow and third-party job software. This is a passion of mine to help companies on Cardano hire and scale, along with excellent networking opportunities. This is all automated and does not require any of my time.

AItutor

Designed and built a platform that infinitely generates math questions and solutions for
A-Level maths, along with two other cofounders. A scalable, customisable maths resource at a fraction of the cost of a private tutor. It is now a project I occasionally sustain in my spare time.
Orchestrated a javascript full stack product using Docker, Typescript, React, Redux, Node, Express, NextJS, Stripe, GraphQL and Apollo. Hosted on AWS Elastic Beanstalk, database in PostgreSQL using RDS. Trained 5+ people in Javascript, coding practices and agile development using scrum. Managed all business requirements, including the business plan, fiscal plan, cost analysis, five-year turnover, legal contracts, and funding applications. Liaised with lawyers for GDPR compliance, Terms and Conditions, Child privacy and data management and used design tools like Figma and AdobeXD for UI/UX. AITutor is a self-sustaining product and doesn’t require much of my time.

Caduceus Foundation

Managed and led various technical and business development teams to help grow the ecosystem of the new, layer one, EVM-compatible blockchain called Caduceus Metaverse Protocol.
Responsible for architecting, managing and developing: A token bridge, An NFT bridge, a Wrapped CMP portal, Open source starter kits and examples, developer documentation and API. Also integrated with Oracles, Stablecoins, SDKs and other critical infrastructure that a layer one needs.
Worked with Solidity, Ethers.js, WalletConnect, Web3Auth, React, Vue, Hardhat, Vercel, Supabase, PlanetScale, SQL, and a little Golang and Kubernetes. Responsible for hiring, managing the budget, technical roadmap, and technical AMAs, talking at cryptocurrency events and panels (Malta, London and Hong Kong), and drafting business partnership contracts.

Principal Software Engineer

Circle

Working in Java to integrate various payment rails into the circle API, specifically, working with card payments (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX), ACH payments, Wires and SEPA, and integrating into different banking vendors like Checkout.com, Silvergate bank and E-Compressing. Java stack involves Java 11, Dropwizard, and JUnit test framework.

Software Engineer

Trustology

Responsible for building an end-to-end cryptocurrency custodial wallet called Trustology which was later acquired by BitPanda and is now BitPanda Custody. Micro-services architecture on amazon AWS: Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation (s Terraform), Appsync, Cloudwatch, IAM, S3, Xray, API gateway, Cognito, CloudFront, Route53, Secrets Manager, Certificates Manager, SES, SNS.
Interacted with Blockchains (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Chain) directly by running own nodes and calling third-party APIs (Infura). Built our chain indexers, which would monitor the blockchains to do transaction history, push notifications and other features for our users
Built front end with Vue.js (and a little Swift for IOS). Integrated our APIs with the Metamask chrome browser extension. Also integrated our backend with exchange APIs like Kraken, Bitmex and Coinbase.
