Born and raised in Singapore, Singapore is primed to be a global player in innovation and I will aid her in that pursuit. 

In my current youth, I am dedicated to two industries (Marketing & Creative) with a keen-eye for the AI space

In the long run, when the time is right, I intend to move into the finance industry with all my skillsets and experiences.

I went to TikTok’s office this week.

Not for content but for matchmaking…

Between 9 of the top 15 TikTok Shop agencies and various DTC brands.

commerce.sg was there representing one of our brands.

Here’s what surprised me:

Most of the presentations from these top agencies… were in Chinese 🇨🇳

Why?
Because many of them are Chinese companies bringing their Douyin strategies into Singapore and Southeast Asia.

And if you didn’t know:
Douyin is the original variant of TikTok used by Chinese locals

The app is at least 2+ years ahead in innovation compared to TikTok.

These agencies aren’t starting from scratch.

They’re replaying a proven playbook here, same strategy, different market.

For us in the region, that means one thing:

There’s a lot more we can learn from the East.

Because they’re not just participating in the Social commerce landscape here.

They’re shaping the market as a whole…

Asia’s Largest Business Show: Day 1 ✅

Didn’t think the plan would work out this well.

Many of the logistics were only finalised the day before.

But we pulled it off. 

We raised $266 for youth entrepreneurship and even became the busiest booth in the entire show

Huge 14-man team effort from everyone:

But more than just a singer, he’s seen as a voice for the youth.

When he toured Sri Lanka, he chose to work with homegrown Sri Lankan talents, showing what it means to lift others up as you rise.

Here’s how we turned our weakness of being the most "inexperienced" company into our core strength

We were the youngest company but with the busiest booth last week at The Business Show Asia.

There was just 1 problem we had before the show:

We had 0 experience running a booth.
No playbook. No template. No clue where to begin.

So I asked for help...
Spoke to mentors, advisors and got a ton of insight (Shoutout to Jonathan Tok 👊)

I decided to turn our weakness into a strength.
Our youth & "lack of experience" will be how we are remembered by people there.

Here’s what we did:

📌 To engage people:
We built an event-day lead gen team. 
Their only job? Bring people to our booth.

📌 To introduce our companies:
 We created two clear front-end offers—simple, affordable and valuable. 1 for Rojak Media & 1 for commerce.sg

📌 To deepen connection:
 We set up a LinkedIn headshot & group photobooth. The photo will be printed out, which can be kept as a souvenir from the show.

📌 To be remembered:
 We made it pay-as-you-wish, with all proceeds donated to youth entrepreneurship.
Because we’re a youth-led company, we want to support other youths.

📌 To lead gen:
 I cleared my schedule for the next 2 weeks. Same with my BD team.
 Every lead & potential partner was followed up on personally.

It was an amazing 2 days:

✅ Official Business Show Media Partner (Sponsored Booth)
✅ Youngest company in the entire business show
✅ Busiest booth in the entire show as shared by the organising team
✅ Raised $412 for NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (Youth Entrepreneurship Cause) via a photobooth 
✅ Generated over 200+ leads with 109 conversation started (On personal & business whatsapp)
