👇  The framework we use to scale our outbound campaigns👇 

This is the exact thought process that we currently use to get more out of working outreach campaigns. 

Step 1: Check if the Campaign is worth scaling (Does the campaign meet your KPIs for Contact/Engaged Lead Ratio) 

The first step we go through is to actually understand whether a campaign is worth scaling or not. 

To do this, we have to answer the most basic question:

Did we get a single engaged lead from our initial campaign test? 

If we did, there are only 2 things that we can do: 

1. Put more into the system (Campaign Scaling)
2. Get more out of what we put in (Campaign Optimization) 

For the sake of this post, we will focus on Scaling. 

Once we know that a campaign / angle can be scaled. 

We need to pick how we will scale the campaign. 

2. Understand the scaling method: 

To do this we go through a basic decision framework to figure out which method would be the easiest to use. 

Here are the questions we ask: 

Question 1: Does the database that was used to build the campaign have more leads than we contacted?

✅ If Yes -->  We simply add more leads from the sample place. 

❌ If No --> Quesiton 2

Question 2: Can we scale using a lookalike tool like 🤫 CloneICP 🤫 ?

✅ If Yes --> We use the positive reply as the starting point to build a lookalike list of companies to the positive reply. 

❌ If No --> Question 3

Question 3: Are there other data sources that could help us filter for our target companies?

✅ If Yes --> Get access to other databases and look to add more leads that way.

❌ If No --> Then we are left with 2 other options. 

----

Option 1: Add an additional outreach channel / advertising method. 

For example if there are resources available we can add LinkedIn / Cold Calling or Paid Ads. 


Option 2: Re-use the list after a cool-down delay. 

We don't want to hit the same list over and over again to avoid spam. So we need to give a bit of a wait time before trying again.
