The Hollywood Chamber is thrilled to announce that LAN Infotech’s Community Account Manager, Glen Benjamin, will be taking a Leadership Role within the Chamber by becoming the Chair of the Chamber’s Technology Committee. 

Glen brings over 30 years of experience in the South Florida Tech scene as he is a Board Member of South Florida Tech Hub, which is the result of a merger between TechLauderdale and Palm Beach Tech/Tech Hub of South Florida.

The Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s Technology Committee’s role is to promote industry growth by working with our local businesses, educational institutions, government entities, and strategic business groups to support the goals and initiatives of member companies in the Chamber.

The core focus is producing long-term economic impact for the Hollywood Chamber by attracting New and obtaining Renewal Memberships, supporting New Startups in our community, and helping build the Tech Talent job pool.

Our Technology Committee will focus on the hottest and fastest-growing initiatives in the Tech Space, such as Smart Cities, Cloud, Internet, Transportation, Robotics, Gaming, E-Sports, E-Commerce, Automation, AI, etc. AR, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, to name a few.

I'm a Board Member with the South Florida Tech Hub, formerly TechLauderdale to help drive South Florida as a major Technology Hub in the Southeast. I'm also a Board Member of our largest Tech event, ITPalooza, which is our premiere event being held in December at Broward Convention Center. TechLauderdale also hosts other major events during the year including SUP-X, Tech Talent Fest and our Cinco de Mayo Golf Tournament, which we also use to increase exposure to our organization and community.
