What can you do to show up each day and leave the world a better place than the day before? This is a question I try to ask myself daily, and it's a big motivator for why I pursued a career path in emerging technology + team leadership. I’ve been involved with the crypto and blockchain world since 2014, originally drawn by my strong fundamental beliefs in personal freedoms, privacy, and financial sovereignty. I love the fusion of sovereign identity, art, culture, and community that is found within Web3, and I've been an active daily participant in crypto and NFT communities since 2016. I've been a software / technology sales professional since 2016 as well, in management since 2018. Across that timeline, I've sold increasingly more technical products and solutions (Print services, TelCom, EdTech, DevOps, and Blockchain). It's been a non-stop, fun learning journey! As a sales leader at Alchemy, I get to live my passions every single day. I'm a big believer in growth via mentorship, networking, and professional development. I view it as my duty as a leader to unlock my team in these areas. Additionally, I’m a creative and entrepreneurial individual who is never satisfied with the status quo. I expect to be the best version of myself, and work alongside the best. Prior to my professional career, I studied 2 years of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), ultimately graduating with dual degrees in Business Management and Design, Innovation, and Society (product design). Because of this unique educational background, I'm able to hold my own in both technical and creative situations. While I was a student, I tried and failed at launching two of my own startups (one in self-healing polymers / materials science, the other in luxury eyewear design). I raised over $50k to prototype my ideas from grants + angel investors (my first true experience pitching!) I also placed as a semifinalist in the New York State Business Plan Competition in 2016. At the time, I was good at product design but terrible at sales - the lessons learned from those experiences were transformational, and are what pushed me to pursue a career in sales / BD out of college. Little did I know I'd end up not only enjoying it and learning the craft quite well, but I also found an unexpectedly rewarding career path! In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, cycling, lifting, photography, and martial arts (as well as being a degen). New York City is the place that inspires me most, as I appreciate the immense variation in cultures and experiences.
