With a personal passion and commitment to equity and equality in tech and the world in general, Gloria Bell brings over 40 years of successful business operations, communications, event management, and entrepreneurial experience, to her roles as Founder of the Women In Tech Summit (WITS) and Founder / Executive Director of the Inspiring Tech Foundation and Board Member at Philly Startup Leaders. Between her current roles and her prior corporate career, Gloria worked in non-profit management, in events and marketing, and provided freelance social media consulting services to businesses and non-profits at Bell Digital Strategies. She also founded Red Stapler Consulting where she worked with businesses and technology startups providing them with business process and operations consulting and social media strategy and implementation and was an Adjunct Professor of Social Media Strategy at Drexel University. In her “spare” time she mentors young entrepreneurs, speaks on women in technology topics, reads voraciously, and relaxes by spending time behind her camera, growing green things, baking, and spoiling her new grandson.
