For the last sixteen years I have ran an e-commerce site, taking it from zero to top of the search engine organic rankings.  In the first year I took over the site we saw turnover increase by 500% and in the subsequent years saw increases month on month year on year.  I was personally responsible for the SEO including; restructuring the site navigation and flow to allow bots access, keyword/phrase analysis, density and content, backlink building, marketing via social media, email, article, press releases and networking.  I also managed the affiliate program, implementing strategies to encourage new affiliates and motivate current members.

Working on a self employed basis directly with the directors of the company to increase sales of the e-commerce platform and work on a strategy to take the business forward.  During 2015 I increased sales by over 70% on the previous year by organising a number of sales based promotions.  I have expanded the newsletter subscription by implementing a data capture pop-up and by organising prize draws, implemented a Pay Per Click program on Google, associated the Frock and Frill brand with number of premium high profile brands to elevate the customer perception of the brand, and worked on a PR boost with a planned blogger event in March 16. Further I put together a 15 page strategy to move the business forward.

Group E-commerce manager on a  six month contract looking after Quba Sails, Puffa and Harvey and Jones employed to drive the e-commerce strategy forward and get in place systems that can move the company and brands on to the next level and lay the foundations for future developments.

Duties included; managing the day to day running of the Care Centre with 36 staff, 30 residents and a budget of 500K. Dealing with all aspects of the business, selection and recruitment of staff, staff discipline, sourcing of outside goods and services, business planning, interpretation of information including financial and report writing.  Dealing & liaising with many outside and professional bodies including Bank Managers, Unions, Investors in People, and Training & Enterprise Council.

This involved running a small company that supplied cleaning and gardening staff to commercial and domestic premises.  Dealing with all marketing and selling of services, selection and recruitment of staff, accounting, invoicing and the every day running of the business.
