Product Line Marketing Manager for the Cloud Platform Business Unit at VMware (the business unit that builds vSphere, VMware Cloud on AWS, and VMware Cloud on Dell EMC. 
Responsible for messaging vSphere at Dell EMC, including creating joint messaging and core product collateral with my counterparts at Dell EMC, enabling sales teams, speaking at industry events, and planning VMware's presence at industry events. 

• Worked within cross-functional teams across the companies to create blended product messaging and positioning. Created joint sales enablement tools and training.
• Developed and ran quarterly Think Tanks for executives and stakeholders responsible for go-to-market activities. Drove cross-functional activities designed to close operational gaps between the companies.
• Acted as a consultant between VMware's Cloud Platform Business Unit and product groups at Dell EMC.
• Launched VMware Cloud for Dell EMC by writing the product messaging, creating sales enablement materials, training the Dell sales teams, and managing our presence at Dell Technologies World (content and staff for three booths, show presence, and speaking sessions). 
• Created the business case for vSphere Scale-Out edition at Dell. This edition supports the virtualization of HPC, Big Data, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning architectures. Worked collaboratively with Dell product marketers on sales enablement (training and collateral) and customer events. 
• Led vSphere presence at events, including speaking sessions.

B2B product marketing manager for SolarWinds Server and Application Monitor, an application performance monitoring product.  I designed a Cloud Migration Guide campaign that highlighted the importance application monitoring, and planned a Tier 2 marketing release launch that included creating messaging and aligning marketing team activities.

Spanning Cloud Apps

SaaS product marketing manager for Spanning Backup for Office 365. I drove product marketing and launch activities in a continuous release environment, created technical content and other product artifacts across teams at Spanning and EMC. I educated IT organizations about the need to backup SaaS applications such as Office 365. I constantly talked with customers to be sure what we built met the requirements of the organizations we served.

Responsible for product marketing management of AppAssure. I create messaging that ladders up to our Dell Data Protection portfolio. I drive the marketing launch activities for releases, creating content and managing work across cross-functional teams. I designed and continue to execute a content marketing/thought leadership program called Backup.U.

Instructional strategy for Ceph training and certification. Instructional design and development of technical courses about the Ceph Unified Storage system for internal readiness and external hands-on training.
