As the hands-on CTO at Backgammon Galaxy, I lead the development of an innovative online backgammon game, serving a vibrant and engaged community. Since joining, I’ve been instrumental in driving substantial growth, with revenue increasing more than 20 times.

    Team Leadership: Building and nurturing a high-performing remote tech team, fostering a collaborative and dynamic culture.
    Project Management: Overseeing all aspects of project execution, from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
    Budget Allocation: Managing resources and budget efficiently to maximize ROI and drive project success.
    Negotiation: Engaging with stakeholders and partners to secure favorable terms and enhance project outcomes.
    Software Development: Leveraging technologies such as Elixir, Flutter, NodeJS, React, and Python to drive innovation and deliver a top-tier gaming experience.
    Cloud Architecture: Designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions using Kubernetes and Terraform, optimizing performance and reliability.
    Continuous Integration: Implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes and ensure high-quality code delivery.

Reporting directly to the CEO, I play a crucial role in shaping the technological vision and strategy, aligning our technical capabilities with the company’s overarching objectives.

SW Development and DevOps Consultant

Palmtree Statistics

Most significant tech authority of the company, directly working with the CEO and the co-founders. Focus on building teams, helping and guiding other colleagues, improving the architecture to include new use cases, increasing the reliability of all the applications, and automating processes. I was also involved in other business-related tasks.

Main project: A trading bot that could bet against more than 400 matches simultaneously and corner the market.

Chief Software Architect

Palmtree Statistics' first tech employee and, therefore, I had to create all the tech environment of Palmtree Statistics to later design, develop and maintain production SW solutions to help professional sports traders. The SW solutions become a digitalization project where traders did not need human assistants to work with statistics, match status, or market prices anymore. Every trader went from tracking 5 matches up to tracking 20 matches. Directly working with the CEO and the co-founders.

Main project: Football trading system which helped traders to take decisions more accurately and faster than their competitors. It was able to track more than 400 football matches around the world at the same time.

Senior Software Engineer

Ericsson

Collaborating with several agile teams distributed around the world developing SW tools that were used to optimize mobile (GSM, UMTS, and LTE) networks of several vendors like AT&T, Telefonica, Vodafone, and Deutsche Telekom. Information traces of the network nodes were analyzed in order to identify and geo-locate issues.

Main project: TPS (Trace Processing Server) took traces (network protocol events) and processed them in order to help field engineers to take better decisions.

R&D Engineer

CIATESA

Being part of a cross-functional team to develop industrial HVAC solutions, mainly for airports, where my responsibility was Software and Hardware related. Start-ups, on-site updates, and training were also my tasks.

Main project: HVAC SW design, development, and deployment for Emirates Airlines Engineering Center project (Dubai – UAE)
