I’m excited to share that I’ve joined Multiplier as Head of Content! 

I’m truly grateful to the Multiplier team for the trust and the warm welcome. From my first conversation with Valerie Slaughter, it was clear this is a company that takes narrative, category building, and global storytelling seriously. That pulled me in fast!

What makes this role especially meaningful for me is the space Multiplier operates in. I’ve been working with US companies and global teams for over a decade, so the topic of distributed work, cross-border hiring, and modern employment infrastructure is something I care deeply about.

In this role, I’ll be leading Multiplier’s global editorial strategy and working across thought leadership, executive content, and multimedia programs to sharpen how we show up in the market.

On a personal note: I’m very aware of the hiring climate right now. It’s not an easy market. So I feel genuinely fortunate that my experience and craft continue to be in strong demand. I don’t take that lightly, and I’m motivated to deliver at a very high level! 💪

I think treating every channel like a conversion channel is dumb. And I say that as someone who runs marketing for a living.

Every few months, most marketing teams get bombarded by these complaints:  

- “We’re not getting DMs from LinkedIn!!!”
 - “YouTube isn’t driving conversations!!!”
 - “There’s no direct pipeline attribution. We should probably cut this!!!”

On the surface, that logic feels okay. It feels performance-driven and rational.

But, if we're being real, in practice, it’s dumb.

Social and YouTube rarely function as direct conversion channels at scale. They build familiarity, credibility, and recall long before someone enters your pipeline. 

Most teams still judge these channels as if they should behave like high-intent sales chat, but they don’t, and they never will. 

I have personally closed meaningful clients who never liked a post, never commented, and never sent a DM. From an attribution standpoint, these people barely existed.

But on the call, these types of things kept popping up:

- “I’ve been following your content for a while.”
- “I watched your podcast.”
- “I like how you think about this XYZ.”

You can't see that cleanly in any data, but it's huge. That content that they "never publicly acknowledged" lowered friction in the sales process and shortened the trust ramp.

If you only invest in channels that generate visible back-and-forth, you limit your leverage. You end up optimizing for feedback loops that feel good in dashboards but don’t fully reflect how buyers build confidence.

There is another change underway that makes this story even more important:

In 2026, you are publishing into an environment where LLMs often shape category understanding before people visit your site.

This is where YouTube carries real strategic weight.

From a machine-readability standpoint, YouTube content creates strong signals:

1. Long-form transcripts that systems can digest
2. Clear contextual explanations
3. Repeated category language
4. Brand mentions inside educational content

When you consistently publish structured thinking on YouTube, your brand becomes part of the material AI uses to explain your category.

If you stay absent from that layer, competitors will eat the space. They will suck in every inch, and you will be invisible. But, the worst thing of all, you won’t see a clean alert about this anywhere. Analytics, CRMs - there's no data that will help you "understand" the gap.
