As the Head of People for Flexi Group Asia Pacific and Australia, I am responsible for leading and driving the people strategy with my team who are based in Malaysia and Hong Kong. With a focus on creating a positive and engaging culture, I work to ensure that our employees are motivated and supported in their roles.

My role includes overseeing recruitment and retention strategies, structuring HR policies, coaching and training, and facilitating group level training to enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported to achieve their full potential.

With years of experience in the field of HR, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with managing a diverse and dynamic workforce. I am committed to leveraging this expertise to help drive the growth and success of Flexi Group in the Asia Pacific region, as we list as a business and expand through mergers and acquisitions.

With the merge of Training and Development and HR, I am responsible for a team of eight and the full lifecycle of every team member.

Black Sheep Restaurants is a Hong Kong-based hospitality group specialising in developing niche, thought-provoking restaurant concepts. 

My role within the business is focused solely on people; recruitment, hiring, growing, developing and coaching them to work their way up the career ladder and to create a nourishing working environment. 
I head up recruitment for the company at every level, managing the process from headhunting/application, hiring and induction. 
My role also involves processing visas for overseas candidates, ranging from training, working holiday, dependant, IANG and of course working visas.  
I am also responsible for curating training content, running training sessions as well as coordinating all group and restaurant-level training courses. 

My job allows me to combine my two passions; food and people.

I was promoted to Principal Recruitment Consultant, after 4-months of being a senior.  This promotion was based on consecutively billing and hitting sales targets, over a 6-month period.

During my time at Adecco, I was number one "New-Comer" in 2016, and number four, temps consultant in The UK and Ireland - based on sales and year on year growth.

I was promoted to Senior Consultant after 1 year of working as a Consultant at Adecco Group. My promotion was based on hitting sales targets, and consistantly billing over a 6-month period.

I maintained and grew the existing contracts and worked from cold leads to develop relationships and win new business on an Adhoc basis. 
Worked with start-up businesses to large established clients in varying industries from Oil and Gas, Finance, logistics, Hospitality etc. Sourcing for candidates at a high success rate.

 My career at Bill's started in the beautiful location of Richmond. After working for the company for 8 months, I took the opportunity to join the opening team, to launch Baker Street branch.

PizzaExpress was launched in 1965 by Peter Boizot. In Wardour Street. And in chaos. His Italian oven was too big for the door. So he knocked down the wall. Oven in. Oven on. And so it began. 
PizzaExpress. We're an iconic and well loved brand across the UK and also in Ireland under our Milano branding. We have over 470 restaurants at home and also more than 100 restaurants internationally in places such as China, India, UAE and Hong Kong to name but a few.

Starting my career in PizzaExpress in the neighbourhood branch of Sidcup, as an Assistant Manager. After 4 months in Sidcup I moved to the large, central London site of Holborn, I was soon after asked to assist in the busy central london branch of the beautiful PizzaExpress St. Christopher's Place.  Making sales of 55k a week, I was involved with the day to day running of the restaurant, as well as working with the marketing team, to create the new format of the companies "pizza making party".

I pride myself in managing my team to exceed expectations of our guests, and to go above and beyond the standards set by Pizza Express.

During my time at The Hilton Sheffield, I worked in the Conference and Events team, as well as the Restaurants and Bar.
I worked as a server and bartender, providing guests with excellent service and making their experience excellent and one that they will not forget.

The Riverside Rooms

The Riverside Restaurant and Crofters Coffee House are located in a beautifully restored 15th century warehouse in King Street, Kings Lynn. The Riverside Restaurants overlooks the winding River Great Ouse and has it's own terrace and garden, it's a traditional English Restaurant providing excellent freshly prepared, locally produced food.
Crofters Coffee House is set in an underground tunnel below St Georges Guildhall and is one of Kings Lynn's hidden secrets; offering homemade cakes, pastries, sandwiches and light lunches.

Working as a Server in the coffee house as well as the restaurant, establishing relationships with regular guests and creating an overall excellent guest experience.

Head Waitress, supervising up to 6 team members. Organising the day-to-day running of the restaurant, as well as events; icluding business lunches, parties and weddings.

I am currently the Head of People for The Flexi Group, a leading Flexible Workspace company in Asia Pacific and Australia, where I lead and drive the people strategy with my team of professionals based in Hong Kong and Malaysia.
