Submicron Research is an Investor and Expert in Scientific Technology & Intellectual Property Analysis.     
      
Submicron has collaborated with major corporations in the development and characterization of new materials including Dow Chemical, Exxon Mobil, Intel, Ciba-Geigy, BASF, Atomic Energy of Canada and Los Alamos National Laboratories.

Dr. Neil Coombs was also engaged by the University of Toronto, Department of Chemistry, to create the state-of-the-art, Centre for Nanostructure Imaging, one of the first labs to be dedicated to nanotechnology in Materials Chemistry.  Submicron  has also provided expert testimony in US Intellectual Property litigation.

SAP holds the copyrights to 10 original feature screenplays, the Billy & the Dreamerz libretto with 23 original songs and one television series treatment.  SAP is a Canadian Controlled Private Corporation wholly owned by Grace Kosaka and Neil Coombs.

Billy & Dreamerz is an original musical, with an  80s inspired score, set in the US & UK, about a young, biracial man struggling to find his place in a British working class town, a world defined not only by Thatcherism, social unrest but also the life-defining music that is Billy’s escape.

It is ultimately a joyous musical about friends, found family and love - no matter what your differences are.

As an author and producer in theatre & film, Grace is dedicated to diversity and inclusion in all areas of storytelling and production. Currently,  she is producing the original musical 'Billy & the Dreamerz' and related events. Grace has extensive experience in theatre and film production, writing, editing, sound editing, filming, fundraising, casting, hiring and optimizing budgets across various productions.
