Posting on LinkedIn without a system is like driving with no map. Most people do it. But if you want your personal brand to attract real leads, you need a real plan. Here’s the framework I use to check my LinkedIn setup, sharpen my content, and become known for something that actually brings business. First: Audit your LinkedIn basics. Is your profile easy to find? Does it tell your story in seconds? Are you clear about who you help and how? Next: Focus on building trust. Do you post things that are helpful, not just self-promo? Are you showing up consistently, not just when you need sales? Are you making it easy for people to understand what you stand for? Now, content. What gets people to stop scrolling? What gets them to comment or send a DM? Are you showing both expertise and personality? The whole point: Your brand should be searchable. Your content should feel relatable. And what you do should be easy to repeat. Solopreneur. Founder. Coach. Wherever you’re starting from—this is your baseline. Audit your setup. Keep what works. Fix what doesn’t. Show up like the brand people want to follow—and buy from. And yes, FACE is the model I use most: 🔹 Findable — Your profile gets found by the right people 🔹 Approachable — You come across as real, not robotic 🔹 Credible — You show proof, results, and authority 🔹 Engaging — You start conversations, not just broadcasts
Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to freedom will never be forgotten. Memorial Day is not just a long weekend—it’s a solemn reminder of the cost of liberty and the heroes who paid that price. Let us carry their legacy forward by living with gratitude, purpose, and respect for the freedoms they fought to protect. To the families of the fallen—your loved ones are remembered, today and always. 💙 #memorialday #honorthefallen #gratitude
Your LinkedIn headline is not your résumé. It’s your first impression. Your positioning. Your pitch. And most people waste it. ❌ “Leadership Coach” ❌ “Executive Coach” ❌ “15+ Years of Experience” No one is searching for that. They’re searching for solutions. Your headline should say: ✅ What you do ✅ Who you help ✅ What outcome you create Examples: 💡 “I help leaders get promoted—without burning out” 💡 “I help executives build confidence & own the room” Don’t be a title. Be a solution. Because if your headline doesn’t stop the scroll, your ideal client keeps scrolling. I’d love to hear how you’re positioning yourself—drop yours below.
Personal branding is dead. Let me tell you why. A few years ago, I was working with a client, a Generation X entrepreneur. He was struggling with his LinkedIn presence. Despite having a polished profile, he wasn’t getting any meaningful engagement. We sat down to discuss his strategy. He showed me his posts. They were wellwritten, but they lacked one thing—authenticity. I asked him about his journey, his struggles, his triumphs. He had stories that could captivate anyone. So, we shifted gears. We started weaving his personal stories into his posts. Stories of his early days when he was hustling to make ends meet. Stories of failures and the lessons learned. Stories of the people who believed in him when no one else did. And the transformation was remarkable. His engagement skyrocketed. People started connecting with him on a deeper level. They related to his struggles, celebrated his victories. They saw the real person behind the brand. What changed? He embraced authenticity. He understood that LinkedIn wasn’t just about showcasing a perfect image. It was about being real, being relatable. Today, his presence is stronger than ever. His stories continue to inspire, to connect, to build trust. So, if you’re wondering whether personal branding is dead, remember this: It’s not about crafting a perfect image. It’s about telling your story. What story are you ready to share?
