Sr Staff Completions Engineer (Rockies)

To broaden my skill set and continued development at Chesapeake Energy I moved to the Rockies as a reservoir engineer. 
•	Lead the Chesapeake field development team to produce an effective and integrated set of technical processes. Worked closely with the support team to coordinate efforts to move the project forward. Responsible for leading target test feedback discussions as well as portions of the weekly core team meetings. 
•	Developed the Turner, Mowry and Sussex gas condensate type curves. 
•	Lead the group in building relationships with the production and completions team.

Sr. Staff Reservoir Engineer (Rockies)

As part of the Chesapeake Energy restructuring, moved to the Mid-Continent completions. Started overlooking 6 Mississippi Lime rig lines and then given a total of 7 rigs in the Mississippi Lime, Granite Wash, Basel Cleveland and Colony Wash formation. Responsible for completions and major work over operations.
•	Mentor and develop 3 new completion engineers and encouraged early responsibility and self-development skills.
•	Evaluated and optimized Frac designs using Spotfire (Data Analysis) with completion data and production data. Design has been standardized and is now evaluated and optimized quarterly to increase production and ROR.
•	Implemented new toe sleeve design and procedure, that reduced risk of installation failures, cost and number of Stages per later, a $50,000 savings per well in the Mississippi Lime.
•	Implemented the use of toe valves in the Granite Wash and Basel Cleveland formation, resulting on a $70,000 savings per well.

Sr. Staff Completions Engineer (Mid-Con./Oklahoma & Texas Panhandle)

Promoted to Lead Asset Manager reporting directly to the District Manager and responsible for providing technical support and development of Jr Engineers and field operations.
•	Optimize Marcellus north Frac crews and schedule to increase production by YE
o	Requested additional CAPEX to increase completion activity to increase gas production.
o	Focused on gas gathering system constraints and optimized completion schedule to Increase gas production by YE (Achieved record production of 2.275 BSCFPD).

•	Analyzed non-op Marcellus data to evaluate how CHK compares to other operators. Analysis showed that although CHK may have a higher cost per ft, it has the lowest cost per MCF. Identified a limit to the lateral length where the rate of return starts to decrease.

Lead Asset Manager (Marcellus North)

Started at Chesapeake as an Asset Manager for the Haynesville formation, responsible for writing up and overseeing completions for 12 rig lines. 
•	Implemented a change in the displacement fluid for the production cement job from OBM to 11. 6 ppg CaCl2. This eliminated the CT clean out run to clean out the OBM. Ran Halliburton CASL software to verify the casing stresses stayed below 80% of design ratings due to water temperature and weight set on slips.
•	Implemented Toe Valves in the Production Casing installation to eliminate the use of a WOR for TCP operations, resulting in a $70,000 savings per well.
•	Evaluated and developed a plan to use 10% produced water for Fracturing operations.
•	Designed completions for our first horizontal Cotton Valley well.

Asset Manager (Haynesville)

Started as the US Central Manager, then promoted to US Land Manager in January 2009, with a focus on building the integrated support necessary for this service, which resulted in significant progress in establishing Schlumberger's Microseismic Business as a true integrated "One Schlumberger" field service. Following 2 years as US Land Manager, received a promotion in January 2011 to the North America Manger, responsible for the operations in US Land and Canada, with a key focus on moving the Canadian and USA Operations to a higher level of service and business growth. 
•	Developed & implemented a new Schlumberger business model combining Microseismic monitoring & Hydraulic Fracturing for value added services to our clients through improved real-time completion solutions.
•	Increased 2009 Market Share 32%, despite a market decline of 50% from 2008 .
•	Increased revenues YoY by implementation of key business & service delivery strategies.
•	Responsible for all aspects of financial planning (CAPEX), business modeling & profitability of the (3) business segments managed.
•	Managed Operations with Wireline, Seismic Operations, Geophysicists, Completions Engineers, Fracturing Operations & Clients.
