My decade+ of experience working in schools as a teacher and program leader have been marked by immense challenges, and the grit to overcome them. From teaching classes of 50+ students in small rural classrooms, to building entire program curriculums across 6 grade levels with nothing but sweat and a laptop, I've been put through the wringer every single year of my career—and delivered against the odds. Unfortunately, my experience of consistently being overworked, under-resourced, and pushed to the edge of burnout is all too common for those working in education. Schools the world over, regardless of funding or location, rely on their staff to make up the difference as they run on inefficient systems, poor planning, disorganized processes, and misallocated resources. So I've decided not to put up with the status quo. I care too much about students and teachers, about human formation, to stand by and watch when I can do something about it. I get it: the project is too big the odds of success infinitesimal the variables involved impossible to number the challenges involved complex and immense But I'm too far gone. You can help or you can watch, but I'm all in on making this a world where teachers and students thrive. And while only time will tell if I can eat the whole problem, you'd better believe I'm determined to take one hell of a bite.
