Q4 doesn't reveal whether you're a good 3PL. It reveals whether you were prepared in July 🎯

We're three weeks into peak season, and the gap between elite 3PLs and everyone else has never been clearer.

What GREAT 3PLs are doing right now:
✅ Providing real-time visibility through integrated WMS/TMS systems
✅ Proactively communicating with clients about potential delays before they happen
✅ Leveraging distributed inventory across multiple nodes to optimize shipping
✅ Running daily KPI reviews to identify and fix bottlenecks immediately
✅ Executing staffing contingency plans they built in August
✅ Offering flexible carrier options and backup arrangements
✅ Processing returns efficiently with 3-5 day turnaround to get products back in stock
✅ Sending weekly performance reports showing SLA adherence

What STRUGGLING 3PLs are doing:
❌ Going radio silent when volumes spike
❌ Blaming carriers for delays they could have anticipated
❌ Running out of warehouse capacity because they didn't forecast properly
❌ Scrambling to hire temp workers at premium rates in November
❌ Using outdated tech that can't handle volume surges
❌ Making clients chase them down for order status updates
❌ Missing SLAs and hoping clients won't notice
❌ Treating every client the same instead of prioritizing strategic accounts
