In my first year of retirement in 2022, I fulfilled a bucket list item by writing a book, CHECKMATE, which provides “Tips & Techniques to Help you Achieve Happiness!" through the Book Creators Institute, which is a community-powered author program through Georgetown University. After 14 months of effort, my book, CHECKMATE, which includes life lessons on a myriad of topics, was published in April 2023. My passions revolve around communicating financial issues in an easy-to-understand manner as well as teaching the various facets of accounting/finance using my 40 years of experience utilizing real-world examples to better understand the concepts. As evidenced by my book I want others to share the happiness that I have experienced in my life!
