Dr Greg Stewart is the founder and CEO of Geco Engineering, who are focused on strategic management and predictive control of weeds in farm fields. Using AI and agronomic modeling to target the use of weed management practices to minimize the impact to ecosystems while maintaining or improving control of weeds. It requires no new equipment or new practices, and the turnaround time for a new farm can happen within a day. In its first year since commercial release, Geco has grown from 3 farms to serving 53 farms. Greg has worked with a range of industries. His data products reside on farm fields in Canada, US, and South America, in over 12 commercial greenhouses, 350 paper machines, 35000 production diesel vehicles, and are creating more than $40M/year in value in manufacturing.
