I am a goal-driven, highly motivated strategic leader with 13 years of international experience, primarily in strategy consulting, operational and commercial leadership capacities guiding scale-up businesses through growth. My sector and scope experience spans start-ups and scale-ups across SaaS, marketplace businesses, extended reality (XR) technologies and luxury consumer goods, as well as briefly founding a smart relocation app (yamevoy.es) targeting Spanish graduates from technical degree disciplines looking to apply their skills in the UK start-up scene. My work at yamevoy.es was preceded by 2 years as a Consultant at Accenture Strategy, notably as Strategy Lead for a major digital transformation project with a UK government department. Before my move into consulting, I spent 2 years learning the ropes at SaaS start-ups and SMEs in Cambridge. I studied Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge University before going on to complete a 1-year course in Management Studies at Cambridge's Judge Business School, as well as achieving a 'full blue' in tennis. During my time at Accenture I also grew very passionate about charity work. I was proud to be Mentoring and Volunteering Lead for Accenture's partnership with The Prince's Trust. By the end of my tenure in this position, I had helped Accenture to win the Volunteering Award for greatest number of hours dedicated to charity work across any of The Prince's Trust's corporate partnerships in 2015. Outside of work, I can mostly be found playing (overly competitive) tennis or (extremely amateur) 5-a-side football, spending time with my friends, family and lurcher (Arthur), or trying to learn a new language.
