As the Director of Project Management I am tasked with developing a formalized Project Management Office (PMO) for the organization.  

•Developed the framework for a PMO from the ground up, leading to improved project execution, enhanced cross-functional collaboration, and increased organizational efficiency.

•Led a team of project managers and provided coaching and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and high-performance project management practices within the organization.

•Provide training and guidance to non-pmo members on PM best-practices, methodologies and provides coaching on successful delivery techniques.

•Work closely with internal teams, vendors and campus stakeholders to successfully achieve desired business outcomes for all projects.
•Interface with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive strategy for conducting change management, communications, knowledge transfer and education of key stakeholders across portfolios.

•Responsible for collecting, reviewing and creating information that enable senior leaders to effectively communicate effective organizational change management strategies for projects.

Lead Student Systems Analyst

•Conduct end-user training for both IT and Admissions staff for CRM Recruit overview, navigation, communications, applications, travel and events, web front end, and maintenance. 
•Developed in-depth documentation on CRM Recruit usage, Colleague integration and server maintenance.
•Provide clear communications on project benefits to a wide range of stakeholders.
•Provided guidance on how to integrate Recruit functionality into the daily business operations of client institutions. This includes integration with current applications and business processes.
•Assist clients in developing end-to-end test plans to ensure Recruit functionality in their Colleague environment.

Business Process Engineer

Howard Community College

•Collaborate with user offices across campus to define, analyze, and document requirements for business process improvements.  Coordinate with the programming staff to implement solutions while managing resources and impact with ongoing major projects.
•Assist end users, project managers and IT leadership in optimizing the scope, benefits, resource requirements and risks of proposed projects.
•Partner with key stakeholders to design and deliver appropriate change management plans to ensure stakeholders understand the ROI and benefits of all projects.  
•Define use cases to articulate new functional software needs and the roles of each class of application user.
•Analyze the impact of change requests.
•Support traceability from requirements through to QA; assist in the definition of test plans and testing strategies and in the creation of test cases.
•Assist in the definition of roll out, training, and user support plans.

Business Analyst - Administrative Information Systems (AIS)

•Provided technical leadership in the administration of all aspects of technology in the large multifaceted Office of Admissions and Advising.
•Developed technical priorities that align with the college’s Enrollment Services priorities 
•Assisted with strategic planning and budget development for technology initiatives
•Developed, reviewed and maintained office technology policies and procedures
•Managed office technology implementations and processes including ongoing reviews, updates, problem solving and troubleshooting, web design and content management, training, and researching hardware and software purchases in consultation with the Information Technology division and office leadership

Assistant Director of Advising, Technology

•Served as one of the main college liaisons to the county’s public, private, and parochial school, military, and community constituencies.  
•Presented information sessions on admissions and financial aid topics to a wide range of audiences (students, parents, and college and secondary school staff)
•Assisted with the development and implementation of outreach strategies for targeted populations and programs.  
•Provided pre-enrollment admissions advising prospective students, including middle school, high school, military, and adult students, as well as students with special needs and international students.

Admissions Advisor

•Worked with students to assist in the transfer process by developing and maintaining Howard Community College's Transfer Center.  
•Coordinated the semi-annual transfer fair and developed the websites for admissions, advising and transfer areas.  
•Developed and implemented multiple databases for communications and tracking of students.  
•Acted as a technology resource for a large and high traffic office.

Transfer Assistant

•Managed student athlete eligibility program including monitoring and reporting of student's academic progress.  
•Designed and implemented a computer-based eligibility system to accurately develop the student athlete academic profile.  
•Created and updated the athletics website and spearheaded movement to update technology in all athletic processes.  
•Started the women's volleyball program and was an assistant coach for men's cross country and men's basketball.

Physical Education Technician

United States Army Reserve

• Served with the 11th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Ft. Meade, Maryland.  
•Responsible for the Maintenance of Company personnel records including service time, life insurance documents, and any other personnel matters. 
•Moved all of the document development to a computer based system that allowed more accurate and timely compilation of data for MPRJ records.
