The company has a portfolio of development assets of more than 14GWs of projects under development in onshore and offshore wind, solar, BESS and transmission projects in different states in the US. Among the company’s notable projects are (i) Clean Path New York - an $11 billion clean energy infrastructure project that includes a 175-mile state-of-art transmission line and 3,800 MW of new solar and wind generation in New York, (ii) New York Bight - ~2GW offshore wind project located off the coast of Long Island and New Jersey which is expected to have an OREC scheme contracted remuneration agreement, as well as (iii) a significant portfolio of renewable power projects in Southeast US and MISO.

energyRe acquired a majority interest in Southern Current LLC where I was an owner/principal and General Counsel. 

energyRe’s founding investors include principals of The Related Companies. Related is the most prominent privately-owned real estate firm in the United States with over $60 billion in assets owned or under development, including the 28-acre Hudson Yards neighborhood on Manhattan’s West Side. 

My team provides expert guidance to the onshore development team in the form of strategic advice related to development, EPC, finance and corporate governance.

One of the top U.S. craft cideries, based in Asheville, NC, which uses fresh-pressed apple juice from six different varieties of apples local to the region. Try our cider varieties on tap at hundreds of locations throughout the Southeast. Enjoy our bottled cider at a variety of grocery stores throughout the Southeast.  Not only do we use premium ingredients, we grow some of our own. In partnership with Lewis Creek Farms, Noble is grafting and growing true cider apple varieties. Founded in North Carolina's apple country, Noble brings together a rich local history of agriculture with this region’s exciting craft beverage industry.

Our family friendly taproom is located at 356 Leicester Highway in Asheville, NC.  We have live music ranging from bluegrass to EDM nightly and over ten (10)  house varieties on tap; along with guest cider from Bold Rock and Urban Orchard, as well as delicious beer from breweries such as Wicked Weed, High-Wire and Burial.   

Additionally, we own Noble Downtown located at 49 Rankin Avenue downtown Asheville where we serve our craft ciders and meads.

Enota Mountain Retreat

Enota is a premier 55 acre historical campground and resort nestled next to the Chattahoochee National Park, and surrounded by numerous fresh-water mountain streams and bordered by two 200 foot plus waterfalls.  Historically the property was known as Camp Pioneer, and was also the first YMCA camp in Georgia.   

In the near term following the success of energyRe and Blockchain Power, I plan to raise capital to renovate the cabins, RV pads and Lodge on the facility.  During Phase II, once occupancy is increased and a solid management team is in place, then the next phase will involve permitting the on-site micro-hydropower facility, bottling water on site, and adding solar and battery back-up.  In addition, this renovation will allow for the use of wedding/event venue, music festival venue, retreat space and multiple dining areas.

We've found a way to harness technology and the stress reducing power of a cat's purr to help people everywhere combat the stress and anxiety that impacts millions.  The Purr Blanket is a proprietary, next generation electric blanket that will envelope users with warmth as well as the melodic sound and feel of a cat’s purr at the exact frequency of a house cat, which in turn may help calm the central nervous system, ease muscle pain, reduce anxiety levels and bring tranquility everywhere it goes.  It’s electric, machine washable, lightweight and incredibly cozy.  Tentatively scheduled for release Fall 2025, Purr Blankets will offer high quality, genuine fleece throw blankets in an initial 50 X 60 size option.  The product is currently in the protype stage with our expert team of engineers and software developers.  

This is a first of its kind blanket.  It authentically brings the sounds of a cat’s purr to life in a way that has never been done before. In focus groups, the participants looked around wondering where the cat was hiding, not realizing that the sound/feel was in fact our technology.

I currently serve as Assistant General Counsel, Onshore of energyRe, LLC, a leading independent clean energy company. energyRe's founding investors include principals of Related Companies, one of the nation's most prominent privately-owned real estate firms and one of the country's largest creators and preservationists of affordable housing. energyRe through it's partnership between The New York Power Authority (NYPA) and Invenergy are partners behind our Clean Path New York Project. This $11 billion infrastructure project will enable the delivery of more than 7.5 million megawatt-hours of emissions-free energy into New York City every year.

energyRe, acquired majority ownership of Southern Current LLC, a US nationwide developer of utility scale solar and battery storage projects where I was a principal and General Counsel. We've sold over 900 MW of solar capacity, including over 97 projects in the last 4+ years.  We currently have an active portfolio of approximately 10,100 MWs along with 4,850 MWs of early stage assets. 

Prior to energyRe and Southern Current, I served as Deputy General Counsel and Principal at FLS Energy (now Cypress Creek Renewables, LLC).  During my active tenure at FLS, I helped transition the company from a solar thermal and residential installer/asset owner and was instrumental in growing FLS from $2 million to over $300 million in annual revenue and facilitated the origination and execution of approximately $1 billion in project and corporate finance. Developed over 70 solar projects comprising 4,900 MWs total. My key role was leading the company's green field development efforts as well the efforts related to the acquisition and further development of 15 portfolios. 

Commercial Real Estate experience involves advising Fortune 400 companies, lenders, REITs and Big Box retail  in multiple aspects of the development process, from environmental compliance to zoning.
