Hey, I’m Alex. Every day I share insights from my life as an entrepreneur and father. My hope is to document my learnings, help others, and continuing to gain perspective on how to get the most out of what lies ahead. What started as journal for my kids has, through reflection, transformed into an online journey. A challenge meant to force accountability and create a better product. I’m excited to see where it goes. I am also the founder and Managing Partner of Griggs Capital Partners, an investment firm committed to helping families build their wealth and define a future they will be proud of. We focus on connecting real people with real assets, closing the unfortunate gap that exists in wealth building education, and providing access to the investments that result in real growth. I have also built, lead and exited an 8-figure business, which proved to be an adventure chalk full of good, bad and a lifetime of lessons. It was the perfect landscape for someone addicted to solving problems and passionate about bridging big ideas with execution. Through global development and execution of heavy industrial / commercial real estate projects, asset management and M&A I have found joy in creating, scaling and optimizing business in order to build value for the people and causes they touch.
