Data professional with over 12 years of experience and a Ph.D. in the relevant field, I have a deep passion for extracting value from data and using insightful analytics to drive business outcomes. My journey has taken me through various roles in academia, where I've been engaged in research, administration, teaching and training since 2011. In 2019, I had a transformative learning experience in Boston when I completed a professional certification in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at MIT. This program brought together a diverse group of participants, including professors, managers, artists, CEOs, businessmen, and students, providing a unique opportunity for knowledge sharing and growth. During my Ph.D. program from 2014 to 2018, I secured a competitive full-time research assistant position, working closely with a renowned professor on research, training, and management. This role allowed me to mentor students from around the world, honing my critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. Throughout my career, I've held leadership positions such as Head of Electrical Engineering, Engineering Program Coordinator, and Head of the Strategic Committee, leading teams of highly qualified professionals with an inclusive mindset. I'm always determined to maintain integrity and diligence, and I constantly seek opportunities for learning and growth. I can bring value to data teams at various project stages, from problem identification to establishing clear metrics for data-driven decision-making. My skills include exploratory data analysis using Python's Pandas library, the development of optimized machine learning models with tools like Tensorflow, Keras, and Scikit-learn, and creating impactful data visualizations using Seaborn, Matplotlib and Matlab. I'm also improving my Tableau, MSExcel and SQL skills further. I have beginner knowledge about version control system and AWS cloud computing as well. My creative abilities extend beyond data science. I've planned, designed, and executed an AI program for children, impacting the lives of over 100 teachers and 500 students. Beyond my professional life, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I have a positive attitude and a zest for life, and I'm always excited to explore new places and experiences.
