To support decision-making for sustainability transformations requires more than what a classic approach to appraisal and valuation can do. That is why I am now interested in social practices of SSH-STEM Collaboration, Transdisciplinary Research Methods, Co-creative/Participatory Engagements, Integration Science, Team Science, Organizational Change, International Liaisons Management, System Dynamic, Transformative Sustainability Education and Innovative Learning Tools for Sustainability. I acquired those competencies in my working life not only as a practitioner but also as a researcher – sometimes as an academic, sometimes as a consultant with public and private stakeholders. Over the past ten years, I have accumulated expertise in the design, management, monitoring and impact assessment of research programmes and projects, especially those relating to the built environment and energy transitions. I love to be involved in these projects, both in the carving of the proposal and its actual implementation, especially as an event and workshop organiser and facilitator. The transdisciplinary literacy learned by doing and envisioning stakeholder dialogue exercises has taken me all over European and overseas Universities, learning from the best how to cope with uncertainties and how to share a meaningful, new, regenerative sustainability paradigm.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

I am co-managing the new-born Politecnico di Torino (PoliTO) “Green Team”, an internal group of professors, students, administrative staff and researchers that encourages PoliTO to address environmental and social challenges. This team is intended to lead the PoliTO towards the university sustainability mission, as stated in the Horizon 2020 strategic plan: a comprehensive integration of sustainability into the university research, teaching, outreach and operations that prepares students, faculty and staff to be sustainability leaders in their professional, personal and civic lives. My task so far included:
- the support for the creation of a Green Team student, with the organisation of a Green Storming event and call for bottom-up ideas for co-creating the University' sustainability policies and actions of 2018
- coordinating, organising and promoting Green Team activities during the Night of Researchers (September 29, 2017), with a stand on projects in various areas (waste, food, mobility, energy, education, urban outreach)
- listening and reporting in the decision-making meetings initiatives and ideas by students and teachers gathered via mail, facebook, or during public events
- creating and updating the Sustainable Path website, coordinating the part time resources that helps the Green Team office on communication issues (www.campus-sostenibile.polito.it)
To this I added another web site, designed and managed entirely by me, created for the sustainability week and other urban outreach events: www.politoward.org 
- Advising PoliTo's government bodies on issues related to environmental sustainability at the University
- writing and publishing the Politecnico's sustainability report (November 2016)
- Organising the first "sustainability week", a week of events, exhibitions, debates and many initiatives dedicated to sustainability, with 50 events, more than 200 contributions (events, exhibitions, graduate theses, posters) and more than 1,500 people involved
