I was also the General Manager of PayPal's India Centers (7000+ employees) in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. Previous experiences at PayPal include leading various platform engineering teams that power Merchant Data Products, Dispute Resolution Experiences, Transaction Orchestration and Planning. • Before that I was at Ericsson R&D India heading a development unit building IMS and Cloud products after serving for over 3 years as the Head of R&D Operations for Ericsson R&D India. • Was the Managing Director, India Operations for Serus Corporation and previously held Senior Architecture positions at Sun Microsystems, Oracle and SAP. • Significant experience building highly secure, reliable, near-Realtime intelligent distributed systems that operate at the bleeding edge of scale. • General Management experience with all aspects of establishing and maturing an R&D Center in India. • Significant experience providing senior managerial and technical leadership to large enterprise software product development and architecture teams. • Expertise with all aspects of building, growing and efficiently operating an agile offshore product development organization from the ground up. • Leadership experience involving geographically dispersed and cross-functional product teams in the US, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Hungary, China, Singapore, UK and India. • Strong team builder and coach, skilled at inspiring confidence, leading by example and managing high-performance teams committed to customer obsession that translates to customer success.
