The Pathways World School Clicking Club, (a pool of passionate photographers) was started in 2008 as a creative activity. The prime objective of this activity was to have fun with the widely Available digital camera.  Each year the students’ enrolment in this club has increased exponentially and the budding photographers of Pathways World School, Aravali have proven their talent and passion for Photography!

Field Trip Coordinator Job Description:

Field trips have been used for many years as a way of introducing students to new learning experiences that cannot be easily replicated in the classroom. It has long been accepted that experiential learning has many advantages for students
•	Plan, organize and facilitate all local or foreign field trips and outstation excursions while leading and accompanying all day trips and overnight trips of students.
•	Update the school websites with students’ activities.
•	Responsible for health and safety of self and others and adhere to the school health and safety policy and procedures.
•	Aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to Child Protection and all aspects of safeguarding children.
•	Prepare and manage budgets for field trips, facility related functions and all other required areas of work. 

The objectives of Field trips are to provide opportunities to:
• 	Enhance students' understanding of business operations
• 	Allow students to see the application of theory in practice
• 	Enhance classroom learning and discussion through a live case study
• 	Engage in work related assessment
• 	Undertake primary research through direct observation and discussions with the operations managers

SAIBSA thought that it was the best occasion for me to learn and grow as a teacher. When you give a lesson to your other IB Educators , you learn throughout the process and get better with each lesson. Therefore, I plan on using the knowledge gained to improve my lessons and create an exciting environment on this SAIBSA session as an ESS Facilitator. The most exciting thing about IB SAIBSA is that teaching and learning is not only fun, but also authentic.
 
Teaching the IB programme has helped me develop a sense of international-mindedness as a teacher.. Also, the IB programmes require teachers to model what it means to be a learner in the classroom. This SAIBSA expectation has helped me become a more reflective, balanced, and open-minded teacher.
 
From the ESS session of SAIBSA I have also realized the importance of collaboration, as it’s key to developing critical thinking skills. I have learned to collaborate with teachers and an entire learning community which has helped me develop professionally

Back -to - School -Pathways Alumni Reunion 2019

College Advisor’s Connect Conference was held in Pathways World School, Aravali from 28-29 February 2020 at the Panini Auditorium. This convention between college advisors from renowned schools across India and members from known Indian universities as well as foreign universities was indeed an enriching experience

Attending this conference  has helped me develop a sense of international-mindedness as a IB teacher. It has enabled me to develop intercultural understanding  and contributed to the college admission team of an inclusive learning approach. 

After attending this conference I have realized the importance of collaboration for the students college admission , as its key to developing critical thinking skills for teachers also for better understanding of student college admission process.

Kumbh Mela is a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith in which Hindus gather at a sacred river for a bath in the river. It is held every third year at one of the four places by rotation: Hardwar, Allahabad (Prayag), Nasik and Ujjain

The most engaging component of ESS & Geo IBDP is the coursework/fieldwork which culminates in an Analytical report based on Primary Data which the students gather and work upon. In this context we are all set to embark on our journey to Sundarbans Delta (UNESCO World Heritage site) which is located in Kolkata. This year 41 IBDP students with 4 teachers  ventured for the very first time in the country to visit the Sundarbans(Kolkata) for the field trip.

The Pathways World School Mission Discovery 2018 program began , 11th Jan, with great enthusiasm. The opening ceremony began with an auspicious lighting of the lamp ceremony which was accompanied by a prayer sung by the ever-melodious Ms. Ritika Wahal. This was followed by an invocation to Lord Ganesha in the form of a dance beautifully choreographed and executed by Urjashi Laha, accompanied by Ms. Ritika Wahal on vocals. 

Mr. Ross Barker of ISSET then addressed the gathering, welcoming all the young minds gathered there to the exciting exploration that they were about to embark upon.

Graduation Day 2018

The 13th Graduation Ceremony -on April 8th, 2017-of Pathways World School Aravali, set off with sight and spectacle. Everyone rose to the ceremonial occasion with much gusto, as the chief guests were whole heartedly received by genial ushers and parents alike. The evening was graced by the presence of the Guest of Honour, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Punjab National Bank, Mrs. Usha Ananthasubramanian.  Mr Prabhat Jain (Founder Director), Mr Pranay Jain (Director and Alumnus), and Dr Kiran Datar (a Founding member of the Board of Governors).

Graduation Day 2017

Trekked to a village school, where they interacted with the children. They not only played and sang along with the village students, but also taught them about WINS (Wash-In School Initiative). The CAS element included the setting up of a library in the school, enacting skits to create awareness about social issues. The day culminated with the students distributing stationery i.e. notebooks and pencils, to the primary school students.

Not everything can be taught within the classroom. Thus, field trips provide the perfect opportunity for students to gain experiential knowledge. 65  
 students of DP 1 ESS and Geography went  for their annual fieldwork trip to  Maldevta, Mahendrapur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand  to study  Ecological Footprints of Eco tourism & Environmental Sustainability, Quality and Patterns of Resource Consumption” with special reference to Maldevta, Mahendrapur from 30th March – 2nd April 2017.

The aim was to motivate young people aged between 14 and 25 years to become involved in a balanced programme of voluntary self-development activities to take them through the potentially difficult period between adolescence and adulthood.

Global	Action	Team	(GAT)	Leaders	facilitate	small	group	discussion	throughout	the	 week	at	an	IB	WSC.	
Their	job	is	to	make	sure	the	conference theme	progresses	 throughout	the	week,	employing	ToK discussion	techniques,	in	addition	to	the	IB	 mission	and	philosophies.
This is my third time i selected as a GAT leader for the IB conference.
Spain first IB World Student Conference kicked off on July 5th 2015 with interactive sessions and workshops conducted by industry leaders and academics some of who are LaSalle University Barcelona .One hundred and fifty high-school students travelled from around the globe to the University of LaSalle, Barcelona to explore how they could harness the immense variety of online technology and education opportunities.

With over 20 years of experience in teaching and leading environmental sciences, I am a passionate and creative educator who strives to inspire and empower my students to become global citizens and lifelong learners. I am currently an IGCSE-IBDP Teacher and Senior Head for Environmental Sciences at Pathways World School, Aravali, where I teach IB Environmental Systems and Societies, Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and MYP Individual and Societies.

As an IB ESS Examiner and Workshop Leader, I have developed a deep understanding of the IB curriculum and assessment criteria, and I use various innovative teaching techniques and multimedia tools to make my lessons engaging and relevant. I am also an AI Educator who integrates artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts into my classroom activities and projects, fostering students' curiosity and critical thinking skills. In addition, I am the Head of the School Clicking Club, the School Graphic Designer and Newsflash, the School Field Trip Coordinator, the School Round Square Member, the IAYP Head In-charge, and a Student Counselor on behavioral issues.
