Fidelis Capital Management trading as Fidelis Advisory supports both buyers and sellers looking to acquire or exit.  Our unique skill and experience is drawn from our own acquisitions plus advising on over 150 more, all in the SME owner managed sector.

This is my 40th year of continuous service in the Regular Army and the Army Reserve.  I joined as a private soldier and commissioned in 1986 as an Officer in the Corps of Royal Engineers and trained at The Royal School of Military Engineering.  After transitioning to the Infantry I served with the King's Regiment (which became The Dule of Lancaster's Regiment) and trained at the School of Infantry amongst many other courses.

I've served in a wide variety of Command roles and then progressed to Staff roles after attending Staff College.  I spent almost a decade working in UK Ops and Resilience as part of the North West team working to the Standing Joint Commander, gaining experience as a Military Liaison Officer with Police and Civilian Authorities across the region.

I am now posted as an SO2 in the Army Personnel Centre supporting Combat roled officer career management. 

I'm also a highly experienced Mountain Leader and Adventurous Training planner and leader, having developed and led many expeds and exercises in the UK and overseas.

Trust Group

The Trust Group was originally established as a private family vehicle for acquisitions in the building and business services sectors.  Having completed 7 acquisitions of Owner Managed Businesses, the Group largely operated in the facilities management, building and business services sectors. Our core business serviced clients such as Carillion plc, Novus Solutions, Cheshire County Council (East & West) and Mercure Hotels.

We have extensive operational experience of operating businesses working for large market players including The National Trust and Sodexo, as well as private property groups.  

The senior management team joined the Fidelis Group team in 2017.

The Charles Parry Group Ltd

The Charles Parry Group was a Direct Marketing Agency, Data Services and holding company for asset management. I was headhunted to build the company from a standing start with a view to ownership. Within six years we were turning over £6 million with a strong client list including Sainsbury’s, JD Sports and EIDOS Interactive.  

In 2000 we restructured the company and I became a 50/50 partner. We expanded the company with successful campaigns and traditional organic growth. It was around 2000 that I became interested in expanding by buying companies, especially our suppliers.

On a day-to-day basis, I was responsible for overseeing business restructuring and financing, setting up functional teams and overseeing the growth of all client programmes. 

The group focused on strategic direct marketing programmes including full creative services, brand development and market research. In addition, we also ran outsourcing services for hosted customer databases, designed, built and managed complex CRM websites and related data services, including data analysis and reporting.

I'm absolutely delighted to announce the acquisition of another UK family owned business in the industrial technology sector by one of our longstanding clients.  It was a tricky and very slow moving process, far longer than it should have been and had to be handled sensitively for reasons associated with the family of the sellers but we got there.
