Project Smile Leisure

Guy is the founder of Project Smile Leisure.

The business operated and ran Family Entertainment Centres (Indoor Play Centre).

Spotting a trend in USA for large indoor activity spaces where the whole family could be entertained. The first site opened with a large play structure for children and adults, high ropes course, climbing walls, dodgems and a comprehensive food offer.

A 2nd site was added 2 years later with both sites having yearly visitors of 500,000.

In 2013 I was approached for sale and the offer was accepted.

The Franchise Group

My role in The Franchise Group was to consult companies and exploring if franchising was a suitable growth strategy for their business.

If they become a client I then put a team in place to work with them to franchise the business.

I have experience of franchising in hospitality, retail, fitness and trades.

Miltek UK

Guy is the Founder of Miltek Uk.

I grew this business to a 7 figure turnover in 6 years successfully exiting the business in 2006.

The business was providing solutions for the recycling and handling of commercial waste. We provided sales, support and servicing of waste compaction equipment.

Clients included major national chains - Matalan, Dunelm, New Look, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Co-op + many more

Australian Pearl Trading Company

Guy is the founder of Australian Pearl Trading Company

Australian Cultured Pearls are the largest in the world. In the early 1990's Australian Pearl farmers had zero distribution in Europe/Middle East. Though an introduction I became a pearl distributor for several Australian Pearl farms.

I grew the business quickly into a 7 figure operation supplying Jewellers, Jewellery Manufacturers and other gemstone/pearl dealers.

My client base was all over Europe, Middle East, Africa & North America.

Travel was extensive and I was away from the UK 3 out of every 4 weeks. In 1999 my circumstances changed and wanting a different lifestyle I negotiated a successful exit with my Australian Pearl Farmer suppliers who acquired my business.
