My purpose is to "gain advantage through disruptive change". Initially working in military operations before pioneering roles in Category Management, then Big Data and Consumer Loyalty Programs, for the past 10 years I have been leading eCommerce globally at Barilla. Every day I am lucky enough to work with very bright people to create innovative growth through disruptive change. I joined Barilla in 2013 and together with an outstanding global community of eCom experts have built our eCom business from €15M to over €200M, growing faster than the channel and competition, delivering leading online marketshares in all markets and becoming recognised by our customers and commentators - Garter (in USA and Germany) and by Nielsen (in France) - as leaders in eCom amongst Food Manufacturers. We have created a culture of passionate ownership and self reliance which we support with shopper focused multi functional expert help. We aim to be the trusted advisor to our major customers around the world. We continue to search for new ways to reach and influence our shoppers at all stages of their research / shopping mission. The future is even more exciting as we expand to new markets; aim to better understand omnichannel in grocery; design products, packaging and new services to better meet these rapidly evolving consumer expectations; and better enable our people to thrive in this new reality.
