Responsible for the releases of Protect Platform including Customer Authentication, Registration and ID Assurance products across Canada and United States. I coordinate, visualize and orchestrate all testing and deployment activities across practices (software engineering, functional and non-functional testing, tech delivery, environment management). I report risks, blockers and impediments to a large audience and executive team members.

Responsible for the Canadian Mobile releases nation-wide (both iOS and Android). I report risks, blockers and impediments to senior leadership and executive teams and I oversee the resolution of all of them.

Senior IT Release Manager

I walked into this role having more energy than expectations and it turned out to be something I really enjoy. The reason is there is so much to learn. Every time I thought I figured it out, I will only be scratching the surface.

I worked with the Canadian Banking service management team - an amazing, highly dedicated and motivated team. I lead a number of technology initiatives within the Canadian Banking segment in the bank to reduce operational cost, onboard new services, SLA management and executive reporting.

IT Service Manager

I managed the lifecycle of all reactive and proactive problems within technology services across multiple lines of business within the Business Segment Technology following the ITIL guidelines.

It's an interesting role where we build relationships with the various technology services key stakeholders to investigate, analyze and perform root cause analysis as well as trending analysis to prevent recurring business impacting incidents and proactively prevent future problems.

One of the biggest challenges is finding the right people and motivating them.

We were able to significantly reduce the operational cost of the technology services. We also trained and coached technology service partners on identifying issues in their systems, empowering them to improve the ecosystem stability and resilience. Our problem process is now fully integrated with the other ITSM processes including change, incident and others.

I worked with one of the most talented and diverse teams of the big blue located in 3 different continents. The projects we managed were intiated by various business domains to strategically sustain the business systems globally through engaging with various stakeholders from the IT and business domains to analyze, test and deliver products. I had the pleasure of supervising a team of technical developers and junior team members. 

Some of my biggest achievements are implementing several system business-related enhancements and automation projects as well as improving the communication facets with the business domains for better collaboration and coordination.

I worked with a team of more than 30 people to support the business globally following ITIL guidelines for procedures and agreed timelines to prioritize, maintain and investigate clients’ requests. I liaised with internal and external clients and other global SMEs to ensure the requests are fulfilled to the client’s expectations and support clients on change control and system updates. 

I managed communication and collaboration with clients to collate business needs and validate the required system changes. I also managed and supervised team members.

IT Analyst

I can't see an end to my learning journey. I have so many interests and passions and above all, I am a very curious being. You will always find me holding a book in my hands reading a bestseller or something you've never heard of. Not bragging (maybe I am) but I know a lot of fun facts.

The last few years of my career in tech have changed me a lot. I see the value of connecting with people. It opened up my mind to so many career paths. Not all progress is vertical. I am building a V-shaped experience for myself in tech that helped me stay connected to my values: learning and curiosity.

On the horizon these days, I am going back to presenting and advocating for women in tech. I am also learning American Sign Language (ASL) and continuing to invest in communication.
